Wifi Destratification Fan
This version of our own brand wifi destratification fan comes supplied with a separate WiFi controller, allowing full control of the fan settings from ground level.
There is no need to gain access to the fan in the roof to adjust settings.
The controller should be located high in the roof to ensure correct operation, then wired down to the fan.
An optional Zone Controller unit is available which can operate multiple fans.
When warm air heating equipment is operated, heat rises by natural convection to the highest point of the building.
As the height of the building increases, so does the temperature gradient inside the building.
Large temperature gradients waste energy. The heating equipment runs for longer to maintain the required comfort level within the space.
In effect your space is heated from top down. In some cases the temperature at high level can be over 10° higher than the temperature set point.
Our wifi destratification fan is designed to displace the otherwise waste high level heat back down to ground level again.
A reduced gradient means lower fuel costs with savings of 15% achievable.
Destratification fans assist with maintaining a more uniform heat pattern throughout the heated space, often eliminating dead spots or hard to reach places.
Our wifi destratification fan is constructed of a moulded foam material which not only looks amazing but cuts down of the weight of the final unit.
Each unit is pre-wired with 3m of flex cable, ready to connect to the wifi controller which is included.
Hanging is made easy by screwing the four eye bolts (supplied) into the units sides which securely fix into a metal plate inside the fan housing.
An optional mounting kit can be used containing a pair of steel wire hanging kits (5m) with a self locking gripple and toggle clips to fix onto the fan.
Air movement can be directed by carefully adjusting the air diffuser blades to spread air over the work area.
Our fans are specially selected and are compliant with current ErP Directive.
In most cases the thermostat should be adjusted to approximately 3° higher than the space set point. For example, a work place of 18° would require a set point of around 21° for optimum performance.
Work out the volume of the building being heated (l * h * w) then multiply this by two for optimum air flow.
Divide this airflow by 5,500 to give the number of units required.
For example, a building 40m long, 7m heigh and 20m wide.
Airflow = 2 * (40 * 7 * 20)
Airflow = 11,200
No fans = 11,200 / 5,500
No fans = 2.03 rounded to 2
Our wifi destratification fan is recommended to be hung no more than 15m from floor level and as close to the top of the building as practically possible, leaving a space of approx 1M above the fan.
UK normal delivery charges are INCLUDED within this price, excluding Scotland & Ireland (contact us for additional costs). Lifting equipment is required to unload product at destination and should be arranged before delivery. Tail Lift delivery can be arranged at an additional cost if required.
