WiFi Destratification Fan Controller
The WiFi Destratification fan controller will turn on a destratification fan automatically when the air temperature at high level exceeds the temperature programmed in the unit.
When the temperature falls below the setting programmed in the controller the fan will automatically turn off.
The controller acts as a WiFi access point, and can be programmed from your mobile phone. It stores all settings in non volatile memory and will automatically restore the settings when power is restored to the device in the event of a power fail.
The controller can be placed into four different modes
- Automatic – Works like a standard destratification fan controller and will turn the fan on and off depending on the setting and ambient high level air temperature.
- OFF – Fan will be held off and will not operate.
- ON – Fan will be turned on and will operate continually.
- FROST – When in frost mode, the fan will operate when the temperature drops below the set point, useful to circulate warmer ambient air back to ground level to assist with prevention of freezing during holiday periods.
The controller uses a low voltage, precision centigrade temperature sensor. It provides a voltage output that is linearly proportional to the Celsius temperature.
It doesn’t require any external calibration to provide typical accuracies of ±1°C at +25°C .
The sensor is supplied with the controller assembled to the enclosure.
The controller should be located high in the roof of the building, preferably facing downwards.
Connect a permanent mains supply to the unit, with a means of isolation at low level.
Wire your fan direct to the controller.
Programming is carried out by an easy to use Web Interface. We designed the interface to be extremely simple.
There are no complicated entry fields, just simple to click buttons.
For larger installations, you can use the Zone Controller version.
Same technology mounted in a universal wiring box with multiple terminals.
The zone controller includes a mini contactor and can switch loads up to 20A.
Locate the zone controller in the middle of the space and wire each fan in a star configuration.
