How can the worlds leading Gas Fired unit heater be even better? The Powrmatic NVS range of gas fired unit heaters currently comprises of 4 different models, with heat outputs ranging from 30kW to 140kW. Now supplied in Charcoal Grey, stove baked enamel.

The unit heater is designed to be suspended directly in the workspace that it will heat. Ducted versions are available with an up rated centrifugal fan option to overcome ducting resistance or can be supplied without a fan for incorporation into specialist systems.

The Powrmatic NVS can be supplied for use with Natural Gas (standard) or LPG (option). Various burner control options allow for basic on/off operation, high low fire or fully modulating burner for extra efficiency.

Powrmatic NVS

The Powrmatic NVS gas fired unit heaters are built around minimal fuel usage, efficiency and reduced flue gas emissions. The entire range meets or exceeds current Building Regulations and additional control options are available. Hi/Low fire offers a two stage operation and a fully modulating 0-10v control option is also available, ideal for use with enhanced time and temperature control stations or links to building management systems.

The heater chassis contains separate modules, one to contain the heat exchanger tubes and a second insulated compartment holding the main operating components including the gas valve, safety thermostat, combustion fan and burner assembly. The cabinet is finished in a heavy duty stove baked epoxy powder paint.

The Powrmatic NVS heat exchanger is of exceptionally modern design. Each tube comprises of four full passes through the air stream and each is carefully mechanically bent with swaged and crimped ends to eliminate welding and thus associated issues during the manufacturing process. Custom heat exchangers can be produced in 409 and 316 grade stainless steel options for increased life in rough service conditions.

What makes the NVS technically superior is a final two stage, extruded aluminium heat exchanger which removes additional heat from the flue gases, pre-heating the air stream before it enters the main heat exchanger section. This exceptional heat reduction causes the flue gases to condense and allow the removal of latent heat from the discharged products of combustion.

Up to 104% thermal efficiency can be obtained when operating the appliance resulting in lower fuel bills and increased heat discharged directly into the workplace.

The Powrmatic NVS utilised in-shot burners, carefully designed and matched to fire directly into each heat exchanger tube. The specialist burner assembly uses a manifold to hold the gas injectors and are supplied from a single gas valve. Separate ignition and ionisation probes are utilised and a Brahma safety gas control provides an exceptionally high level of operational safety. The NVS heaters are supplied for use with natural gas (G20) as standard with an LPG Propane (G31) option available with a factory or site conversion.

Air movement is provided by a standard axial fan arrangement with larger models utilising multiple fans. Adjustable louver sections on the front of the heater allow the discharged heat to be directed to the required location in the work place. Additional horizontal louvers can be added for even greater air control.

The duct mounted version of the NVS heater is supplied with a heavy duty centrifugal fan fitted directly to the heater or can be supplied without a fan for mounting into existing ducted applications. The front discharge grill is replaced with a heavy duty duct spigot to allow direct mounting to the air distribution duct.

The entire range of Powrmatic NVS heater is supplied with automatic ignition and flame safety monitoring, high limit overheat protection and separate control of heat and fan to allow a summer operation mode. The NVS unit heater can be interfaced to almost any control station including the Powrmatic MC200, MC300 (forthcoming) and the Heatmiser IQ+ controllers.

MC200, MC300 and Heatmiser IQ+ provide the optional signals for hi/low operation and 0-10v modulating control when required. Control stations are not supplied as standard and require on site installation.

The range of Powrmatic NVS heaters are type tested to meet the stringent requirements the Gas Directive and are CE approved.

UK normal delivery charges are INCLUDED within this price, excluding some areas of Scotland & Ireland (contact us for additional costs). Lifting equipment is required to unload product at destination and should be arranged before delivery. Tail Lift delivery can be arranged at an additional cost if required.
